A disappointing meal out.

点评：Those who remember this as Martini Blue will be disappointed with its new ownership & being renamed as ‘Aris’. Gone are the friendly welcoming staff, replaced with people who are abrupt, talk to you as though it’s a chore & generally unwelcoming.
We are a family of five & they looked genuinely put out to have to move a table to accommodate all five of us, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were then told by the waiter to ‘help me set the table’ with the paper table cloth.
The menu has changed significantly from the last time we were here in 2023. The food itself was a mix bag. The Pork Gyros, Spaghetti Carbonara & feta with oregano were excellent but the pepperoni pizzas were terrible, they tasted like really cheap frozen types from a supermarket. The grilled octopus didn’t appear to have been grilled at all & seem more as though it had been cooked in an oven.
The service of the food was very poor. The pizzas arrived first, followed 10 minutes later by the pork gyros, then approx 20 minutes later the octopus arrived, by which time most of my family had finished their meals.
This was a really disappointing meal out for us as we’ve fondly remembered the amazing service & delicious food in previous years (2022, 2023).
Sadly we won’t be returning here.
