点评：We’d just got off the boat trip to Spinalonga, and needed a drink and a quick snack.
Twins looked okay, and we all fancied a crepe, so we found a seat in the outside area.
They only had two flavours of crepe, so we ordered a milkshake, a honey and sugar crepe and the strawberry and chocolate pancakes.
The first two were fine. Sweet, but fine. With strawberry and chocolate pancakes, we expected, well, strawberries. There was maybe one strawberry, two if I’m generous, chopped up on top of a stack of fluffy pancakes. The issue was that between the paltry bit of fresh fruit and the fluffy pancakes, was an absolute lake half bright pink strawberry sludge, half melted Nutella sludge. It was disgusting to look at and worse to eat. My daughter managed two mouthfuls. We put the rest in a takeaway box and threw it away.
Normally, we would have raised it, but the waiter who had originally served us was too busy yelling at a young waitress. Not speaking Greek, we don’t know what had prompted it, but judging by the way the rest of the staff reacted, it wasn’t the first time. The waitress was in tears, but the waiter kept on shouting and gesturing.
We asked to pay, and were told we had to wait for the original waiter. After a good ten minutes, while the argument raged on, another waitress called him to take our payment.
He barely spoke during that interaction and we left as quickly as we could. We wish we’d never sat down at Twins, it ruined our day. We hope the waitress is okay.
