A great way to see the island.

点评：Just got back from a husband and wife trip to Madeira staying at Pestana Village, Funchal. We intended to travel around the island and saw the Madeira Discoverers booth on Avenida Do Infante. Outside was a board advertising a deal for 3 trips for 75 Euros per person (Food not included), in a small mini bus. One trip was to the Eastern half of the island, one to the Western half. They were both full day tours (About 9.30am - 5.20pm) The other was a half day tour to an area known as Nuns Valley. We booked the trips and were picked up and dropped off at the hotel. Each trip took us up into the mountains from one stunning view to another. The east and west trips also took us along the coastal roads. We stopped at various small towns, villages, scenic locations and view points for various amounts of time to explore on foot and take pictures, and lunch (on the full day tours). We were fortunate to have good clear days. On the Eastern trip we also stopped off to walk 30minutes on a Levada walk to a fantastic view point in the mountains. The island is beautiful. Fatima did our booking. Our guides were Benjamin for the East. He's fluent in several languages. Lucas, aka J.J. for the west. He's only done the job for a few months and Norbert, fot the Nuns Valley, he's very knowlegable and great company. All were extremely knowlegable, helpful and friendly. The guides went out of thir ways to ensure we had a great time. All in all, 3 great trips, thank you.
