点评：We have visited all the Madeira "classics" by now, so I wanted to have my parents, who joined us this time, to have an opportunity to visit a vineyard - and that's exactly what this tour is - a visit to an a beautiful area in Sao Vicente (you can see the fields easily from Capelinha N. S. Fatima, I would suggest to do both at the same visit as they pretty much next to each other),
Here we have learned a lot about the area, original owners of the lands, the company, the vines growing approach etc. - they don't show how the wine is made afterwards or matured, but instead you transition into the sampling part (it includes a charcuterie board) - and these are very generous, as you get 6 bottles and once this is done you can sample as much as you want afterwards, so it's not just a glass - however, these are white dry wines so it's not for every taste buds out there, especially if you care more for reds, or classic Madeira island associated wine - still an excellent experience and I think everyone can find something here for themselves.
You can book the tour with the lunch on the spot, but you want to book it in advance as they then prepare the meal for you (fixed menu for the day type of arrangement).
The drive to the place is perfectly fine, I read somewhere someone calling it "an adventure on its own" - nothing different then anywhere else in Madeira, including great views :)
