Restaurante D'a Várzea的点评
点评：We knew going in from the reviews that this was not a stellar place, but we were hungry and it was only 6:30 and the real restaurants would not be open until 7:00pm or 7:30 pm. We each ordered a special from the board, which we have found to be a good bet. I ordered the pork secreto, my wife ordered the aleira sausage. We each ordered a small side salad, which was not on the menu. My secreto was actually god, and my wife's aleira was so-so. Each were served with white rice and fries--probably from the freezer, or resuscitated from lunch--dry and hard and a distinctly artificial looking yellow color. The salad was a few leaves of lettuce with lots of raw onion and shredded carrots and some cherry tomatoes with barely a hint of oil and vinegar. Note that they do not take cards--cash only. The place was pretty empty and the staff was nice, but very young and not very polished. We will not be back, but it served its purpose.
