点评：Visited 't Ambachthuys several times during my trips to The Netherlands. It is located a short tram ride from Rotterdam in Hillegersberg - a quaint and beautiful town on the lake. The food is delicious, especially the duck and the fish. The menu is not set but varies from day to day depending on what fresh meats and fish are available. Also, the wine selection is very good and the server will make recommendations for food/wine pairings. The service is good but can be a little slow depending on when you go. There is a fairly new chef who is very sociable and visits each table to chat with the guests. The atmosphere is very laid back - no rushing through anything. Tables sit and enjoy for about 2 hours so it is best to make reservations instead of having to wait if it is full. Also, in the handful of times I have gone, I have never seen any children. Not saying they are not allowed but this seems to be a more refined restaurant where children would be bored without something to hold their attention.
