Disappointing room, passive aggressive front desk.
安东尼酒店的点评
点评：The Anthony Hotel is unacceptable.
Our room had NO in-room safe, the refrigerator did not work, the TV did not work, and there are no amenities, not even a box of kleenex. The room was not cleaned, and when we asked about that at the front desk, we were informed that the maids only clean the rooms every 3 nights. The sofas in the rooms are dirty. Photos on the website are not an accurate representation of what the rooms really look like. The decor in our "upgraded" room can only be described as soul-crushing eastern European prison commissary.
When we requested a higher upgrade of a room, the person at the front desk handed us a key. This new room was NOT accessible by elevator, so we would have to drag all our heavy luggage up a very tall staircase to a landing, and then up more stairs, to get to a room that looks like an abandoned attic with scattered facilities -
a bathtub in one area, a sink in another area, a bed around the corner. When we returned to the lobby, and told the front desk person that we needed a room that was accessible by elevator, he handed us (two seniors) a key for another room. This new room was an identical room, also inaccessible by elevator, also only accessible by the same type of tall staircase.
Shame on you, Anthony Hotel, for charging high prices for subpar rooms, and passive aggressive customer service at the front desk ! I could not wait to leave.
