点评：We came here with our family on a busy Saturday evening. The restaurant opposite couldn’t fit us in (two adults two small kids and a buggy with our twin babies in). But recommended we came here. We are glad they did. The staff were excellent and the food equally good. We have been touring Belgium and the Netherlands throughout August. And have been to every major city and town in the Netherlands bar Rotterdam and Eindhoven. And this was easily the best food we had. The staff were great accommodating and even helping entertain our little ones. They also offered to make anything from the lunchtime menu if it was more suitable despite it being a Saturday night. And the place is a nice restaurant in general.
The waitress who recommended the dishes couldn’t have picked better. The starter (veal salad) and main ( pork belly and prawns) were absolutely delicious. As was my wife’s starter (coconut and prawns soup). I didn’t try her main but it also looked great.
The kids had kids menu. We always try and avoid ‘nuggets’ but they had them this time and they were proper homemade chicken nuggets and I would happily have had them as an adult main course. They were excellent.
We also had the bread and dips and the aioli was lovely. I am assuming it was homemade but either way it was delicious.
Would come again if ever in the area in future.
