点评：I got together with 12 friends to have a few drinks. I’m so glad we choose thIs spot. The cafe has a really warm and quaint atmosphere. Having lived in Haarlem for over 20 years, I had heard of this cafe, but didn’t know it also served food. Therefore when we decided to have dinner, I wasn’t expecting much. I ordered the surprise 3-course menu for €35. What
a surprise it turned out to be. The food was delicious, one of the best meals I ever remember having. The starter was a brill fish fillet with a really tasty sauce. It was followed by a main dish consisting of slices of very tender tournedos alongside beautifully cooked vegetables. I usually don’t eat much desert but couldn’t pass this one up. It didn’t disappoint. Finally the Ukrainian waiter was all you could ask for. He was very friendly, attentive, and service-oriented. All in all being here made for a very special evening.
