A stay not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel
奥提伽大酒店的点评
点评：The room we were given did not resemble the deluxe rooms shown on the hotel’s website. The decor matched that of the classic rooms, with cramped furniture and a very small closet. While the room may have been larger than a standard classic room, much of the extra space was taken up by two internal corridors, which did not contribute to usable living space.
In short, the room did not match the photos, so I would caution others not to rely too heavily on the images posted online. Our room was on the second floor, and we were forced to sleep with the windows open because the air conditioner was extremely loud. This led to mosquitoes in the room and significant noise from outside at night. For the category and the price we paid, the experience was disappointing—we did not sleep well, and overall, the stay fell far short of the standards expected from a 5-star hotel.
On the positive side, the view from the restaurant terrace was lovely, there was convenient parking directly across the street, and the location itself was excellent.
I chose this hotel based on the strong reviews and the great location, but I suspect many of those positive reviews came from guests who actually received rooms like the ones in the photos. I’ve since noticed other reviews describing similar experiences to mine. When I mentioned to the receptionist that I would be sharing photos so others could judge for themselves, her response was simply, “We’ll respond.”
I have noticed that to every bad review they do actually answer like the customer is always wrong.
So, I’m expecting that they will respond to my review just to prove me wrong. But based on my experience—and having traveled extensively—this stay did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel and the good points did not make up for a cramped room and a bad night's sleep.
