点评：This pizza place is almost next door to our hotel so it felt a little unadventurous to go there. But I couldn't resist any longer: the smell of the cooking and a quick read of the menu...WOW ! I had the sardine starter- like breaded whitebait with extra extra oomph, and a really big portion, beautifully cooked, served with lime to squeeze over it. I followed with a gatopardo pizza: loaded and out of this world. Pizza has no right being this good. It's located in a cute little side street off Via Maqueda so doesn't get the crowds milling past all the time, yet in 20 seconds you are right back in the mix of beautiful, SO friendly Palermo. I know friends are planning a trip here soon so I will be making sure to give them a hand-drawn map to guarantee they get to this place. They won't regret it and anyone who reads this review needs to make sure they don't regret missing it either. If you visit Palermo GET IN HERE AND GET IN QUICK !
Hats off to the staff involved in serving us; all were lovely, fun and friendly, a real asset, especially the tall curly-haired lad who got us in- sorry I didn't catch his name and he was too busy to disturb him. (He went above and beyond to get us a table when he really didnt have to.) And if I could kiss the chef/ chefs I would.
