点评：The first thing that caught my eye was the blooming wisteria on a very old stalk outside the cement building that used to house the old wine operation. This wine and olive oil operation is just west of Catania, but it is rural enough to make you feel like you may have time traveled back a century.
Inside there were two tables of appetizers that were as pleasing to the eye as to the palate. The cheeses were magnificent! Enough for our 39 hungry guests on the tour! We were treated to the history talk of the vineyard and wine-making with great detail, and could see the operation as it might have been - from the grape foot stomping area to the journey of the juice to the barrels. The talk extended to the wine-tasting as we moved to the tables where we were treated to various wines from the family cellars.
Then there was a lunch of delicious salad greens, breads, farfalle pasta, finishing with a fruit salad compote. Delicious! All questions were answered while we also perused a wine list where bottles could be bought on the spot or shipped overseas to our house. The meal and the service were perfect.
Outside I could see fruit and olive trees as well as other amenities for family or guests..We have gone to a lot of wine tastings, but nothing can compare to our visit here. They do it right..
