点评:Maybe we caught them on a bad night but there is no excuse for not communicating with customers when service breaks down.
As a couple we decided to eat here on our last night in Alghero as we passed by every day of our stay on the island.
Our order of a shared starter followed by pasta and pizza dishes should be simple enough to get right. The first sign that this would not be the case was 15 minutes later when the waiter pointed out that our drinks order had probably been "forgotten" by staff.
Wine arrived but without glasses. We had to ask for glasses.
Our starter of prawn cocktail followed, so far so good.
Then we were basically ignored for the next 50 minutes whilst later arrivals were served with food including a table beside us who were seated later than us and were having after dinner drinks before our food arrived, (just as were about to leave).
My wifes pasta dish was cold. We ate a little, paid the bill and left.
The response when the cold pasta was pointed out to the waiter was "oh we had to wait for the pizza, we would have reheated for you".
Our only negative experience of our week spent in Alghero.
