Small 17th century church
Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie的点评
点评：This small 17th century church was built partly with the inheritance of the parish priest Don Andrea Ambrosoni and partly by the Arrigoni family who held the right of patronage in the area.
The Baroque style interior contains several statues and paintings of artistic and religious importance, coming from various historical periods. Examples include the baroque altar, made of gilded wood with two large spiral columns, once was used in the Villa Monastero. Other articles came from the church of San Giorgio.
In the niche, you can see a gilded wooden statue of the Madonna with the Child in her arms. This representation of the late 16th century could date back to a previous altar.
In the church, there is another canvas depicting St. Anthony on his knees. He is praying to the Virgin holding the Child with a generic landscape in the background. This canvas also works by the unknown and from the 1700s.
