点评：Unfortunately the service was so poor that it defined the experience, overshadowing the food.
We weren’t served at all for about 20 minutes after being seated. Eventually the waiter came to attend to us and gave us menus in hard copy - we had to inform him that we had lots of time to browse the virtual menu and were ready to order food after all that time. When ordering we showed the waiter the desired menu items off our phone. In a bizarre move, the waiter literally grabbed the phones out of our hands without saying anything to take the order. He forgot to bring water. For the remainder of the meal the waiter wasn’t responsive to signals or being called verbally. At the end of the meal - after we waited for a while - the waiter brought the bill. The bill had sauce on it. There were no apologies at any time and not even a question of whether we enjoyed the meal. No hoots given.
The menu was appetizing and the food was quite good. On food alone La Mafia is a 4/5, or higher. The decor is also creatively done. It is a shame the service was so far below average.
