点评：We visited Kraken in Málaga hoping for a good tapas experience, but unfortunately, we left quite disappointed. The first issue was the menu — the English translations were incomplete or poorly done, and in some cases, key ingredients mentioned in Spanish were left out entirely. This made ordering confusing, as you didn’t really know what to expect.
We tried the mini burger with truffle mayonnaise. While the meat itself was good, the truffle oil was overpowering and dominated the whole dish. For the price, I expected either a larger portion or at least two mini burgers.
We also had the mushroom and chicken rice, which had very few visible mushrooms — it seemed more like the flavor came from a mushroom stock. Not bad, but not impressive. The Manchego cheese was nice, but frankly, I’ve had better quality from supermarkets. The chicken with couscous was the best dish of the evening — the chicken was well cooked, but the portion of couscous was surprisingly small.
This is definitely not a traditional tapas place, so if that’s what you're looking for, you may want to look elsewhere. Perhaps it’s better suited for drinks and a light bite, but based on our experience, we chose not to stay for dessert or coffee and wouldn’t return or recommend it for tapas.
Regardless, the staff were friendly and smiling throughout — though oddly, no one acknowledged or thanked us as we left.
Lesson learned: never go restaurant-hunting when hungry.
