点评:In West Frankfurt, amidst all the "Wahnsinn" of Griesheim, lies the most exquisite gem of a restaurant. It is the Frische Paradies Bistro.
I have been here since the early days of its opening and throughout its development. I have eaten here as part of a couple, as well with larger groups of people. Each time the food, the service, and of course, the people, all conspire to make it a memorable experience. It was here that I had my first sip of Peter Sölva wine - prompting a trip to the Weingut of the same name in Süd Tirol. It was here that I sampled my first Tsarskaya oysters - the flavours so nutty and robust - and washed down with a fine white wine (could very well have been a Peter Sölva) recommended by Erika.
For a "Feinschmecker" like me, the Bistro offers a wonderful menu of main dishes from seafood to beef, beautifully accompanied by various well selected vegetables from the store itself. They are even willing to adjust the dishes to accommodate your sensitive palate.
But all of this could not be achieved without the attentive staff - led by Erika who looks after you as if you were her own.
For me, for those special occasions, I think of no better place to go to than the Bistro at Frische Paradies because I know I will always be happy with the food, the wine and with the service.
