点评:Over the last few months we have been trying out some of the top rated restaurants in Stuttgart and so far this was the best. My husband went with the 6 courses (no cheese) and I went with the 5 (no consomme or cheese). Everything was excellent and the service was great. Two excellent spreads were provided with the very tasty potato bread followed by the veal with lentils--again excellent. My favorite course was the Bretonic Halibut with the watercress sauce. Both the fish and sauce were very flavorful-- the photo does not do it justice. I was very surprised by the flavorful consume with "tafelspitze" (cream of wheat balls??in English). The breast of pigeon and sauce were also excellent and I particularly liked the potatoes with pumpkin oil.
I was fairly full when the free-range beef arrived--the most tender meat I have ever eaten, with an excellent gravy. The dessert was a very refreshing crème brulee over cold marinated citrus fruits. If everything could have been served within 2 to 2.5 hours that would have been better than three. That would be my only recommendation.
