This friendly, relaxed restaurant serves outstanding, original dishes made with fresh, local, varied ingredients, creating delightful, subtle combinations of flavours. After a five course meal, you will still feel, light, energised and nourished, not tired, sleepy and heavy. This comes not just from modest (in a positive sense) portions but also the freshness and variety of the ingredients and evident care in preparation to preserve the original flavours and not drown them in butter, oil and salt. Wine pairings were perfect. The absolute stand out was the Jakob Schneider Spātlese that accompanied the heavenky white chocolate, meringue and strawberry dessert - wine and dessert balancing each other perfectly. Service was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly with regular bread and water refills most welcome. The people who work her clearly love what they do, want their guests to have a memorable experience and are rightly proud of the food they make.
