点评：A reasonably welcoming looking restaurant in Lyon’s attractive Old Town, we hadn’t really planned on a curry but popped in on spec as we were passing. We very nearly didn’t stay though when we found out they don’t serve any alcohol! I’ve never had a curry without a Cobra or a Kingfisher to wash it down and didn’t really want to start now, but a combination of factors including torrential rain, unfamiliarity with any nearby alternatives and the late hour meant we reluctantly stayed put.
The restaurant was actually quite attractive internally with a decent amount of dark, carved woodwork giving it something of an elegant error perhaps whilst the menu offered most of the usual suspects one would expect. I opted for a straightforward CTM with pilau rice and a garlic naan. It turned up very quickly and in some ways it felt a bit more as though it were a takeaway with seating rather than a proper restaurant, but it was nonetheless a decent enough dish. Nothing outstanding, but certainly adequate and nothing at all wrong with it. The naan was a little on the small side, but was otherwise tasty.
All in all, not bad, but the lack of any beer means that out seek out other venues in future.
