Scent-sational perfume making experience - but don’t expect a grand venue

点评：Attended the perfume-making workshop with two kids. The base price covered the children, but there was an additional €10 charge for a parent to assist. It was a one-of-a-kind experience where each child crafted their own signature scent. They had a blast and proudly took home their personalized creations, complete with custom names for each bottle! We opted to pay a little extra to have the perfumes in spray bottles. The session lasted about an hour. Tip: come prepared with a name for your perfume. It makes the experience even more fun and the kids don’t have to stress about the name.
Be prepared to smell dozens of scents to create your own. So if you’re sensitive to floral scents or perfume then maybe reconsider. Our guide was helpful and we were pleased with our perfumes.
While Grasse holds the title of the perfume capital, the actual venue for this workshop isn’t particularly striking, it resembles a simple storefront. In contrast, I’ve visited perfumeries in Èze, and the setting there is truly stunning and memorable.
However, for the purposes of creating our own perfume, then this workshop was great. There’s some street parking, but not a lot.
What’s fantastic is that we can order our perfume online using the code given to us after the course. We also received a certificate which was a great souvenir to have!
Make sure you enter the right address if using GPS (check your ticket). We entered “Garimard Grasse” and ended up in the centre of Grasse to another store.
