拉圣凯特琳库尔酒店的点评
点评：When we booked, we were advised a fan was in every room.
On arrival, after waiting 90 mins for it to open (closed until 3pm every day it seems) it was very hot. Our room necessitated a walk out of the hotel up the road and into another door into our room.
It was baking hot, windows opened into the street (ground floor so poor security) and the owners son Louis said no rooms had fans.
Given a heart condition we asked if we could agree a cancellation to a hotel with air con) and offered 50% of the cost as compensation.
Louis called his mother the owner and then told us given the circumstances a free cancellation was agreed.
We have since been charged the total bill and they are refusing to discuss saying no refund was agreed.
Very disappointing as we thought we had been entirely honourable but it was sadly not reciprocated and has left us very annoyed and let down by the hotels owners.
If you do book, it’s situated on a hill and there are narrow one way roads around it with challenging parking. No air con or fans so I would suggest avoid summer months here and stay more centrally with air con. Mercure was excellent.
