点评：I have wanted to eat here for many years and so when I found myself in Paris, I made sure that I booked a table for lunch.
When I turned up, I was greeted by some very friendly staff and given a table upstairs
As my budget only allowed for the standard lunch menu, I chose the fish based starter but sadly could not have the lamb main, as I don’t eat meat. The waitress was very lovely and explained that the menu changes weekly and there is only one option available - the opposite to what is stated on google. Sadly I had thought that there would also be a non-meat option for each course.
I was then asked if I had any allergies - which I do not and was told that a vegetarian dish would be created for me. I thought it was very kind and looked forward to it.
The fish starter was nice but quite small - to be expected in this kind of restaurant. The bread that came alongside it helped to mop up the sauce, so that was enjoyable.
I was then given a main of fried mashed potato that sat on a bed of peas, carrot ribbons and a pea purée. It was okay and I liked the mash and the purée but I found the peas and carrots quite hard, so could not really eat them. I didn’t say anything at the time because that was probably how they were meant to be served and I was just used to having them a little softer. I did not want to feel embarrassed by stating this and was also grateful that they had tried to make up a dish on the spot for me - however I suppose I just thought the dish might be something a little more inventive.
I chose to forego a dessert but was glad that I finally tried this restaurant.

我决定放弃甜点，但很高兴终于尝试了这家餐厅。
