点评:In a city with so many excellent restaurants, I spent a lot of time researching where to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and I am so thankful that we chose La Condesa. The tasting menu was excellent. Everything was delicious, but we especially enjoyed the green apple sorbet with celery, the tamarind Panipuri (an explosion of flavors), the lamb, and the cherries and chocolate dessert.
The combination of flavors created a thrill for our taste buds, but the dishes were also works of art and were visually stimulating. It would seem that a chef with so much talent would have an ego to match; however, Chef Idra came to our table several times during the meal, and he was extremely humble and approachable. I really appreciated the way that he explained the dishes to us. Likewise, the rest of the staff were professional and yet made us feel extremely comfortable.
We have had the privilege of eating at other Michelin-star restaurants, but this is a dinner that we will remember. We throughly enjoyed the entire experience. Thank you, Chef!
