点评：You’d obviously expect The Ivy Asia to be great but it’s way better than it needs to be.
Firstly, the decor: What can I say? It’s a breathtakingly beautiful venue which looks great day or night. The green floor with underfloor lighting looks spectacular and the opulence of the rest of the decor is just amazing.
Food-wise, as a family of vegans, we were very happy indeed. There were lots of delicious plates to choose from and the food was plentiful. Our various servers were lovely, really helping us to choose the right amount of food, and the dishes came at just the right intervals to keep us going. My only criticism would be of the sushi. Vegan sushi can tend to be carb-heavy, relying on rice as a filling where it normally uses fish, and The Ivy’s was no exception. Perhaps a more adventurous vegan sushi could be introduced, adding some protein to the rice?
In terms of price, well it ain’t cheap but as restaurant experiences go it felt worth the cost and we went away with a warm glow, having had such a wonderful experience.
