点评：If you are just going for a few drinks, fine. If however you want to have a meal, I would ring in advance and see if you can book a table as this is a deservedly very popular establishment. Parking is a little limited (around 50 parking spaces) but it is free to patrons. Access for people with mobility problems is not wonderful, the main entrance is narrow and dog legged so ring ahead to see if theres access for wheelchairs (though inside would be difficult to navgate with one).
We visited not knowing about booking a table but were able to order a meal while sat in the bar lounge. Difficulty there was the seating which was mostly stools that felt rather unstable.
Now for the up side, the food, excellent quality, huge proper north of England portions at reasonable cost (three of us ate and had drinks all for less than £50). Given how busy and how overworked the staff were, service was good and the food came within 20 minutes, hot and absolutely delicious. The Pub serves real ale and appears to support the campaign for real ale which nowadays a relief from the industrial waste most pubs serve.
All in all, highly recommended.
