点评：2nd visit to ask Italian after a good experience in Shrewsbury, shame this one was so poor. We were a group of 8 and had 8 meals so you would hope the odds would be that at least one meal was nice….. there wasn't. It didn’t start well with 3 of us being told that they didn’t have the drinks we wanted from the menu. We didn’t want anything special, just some soft drinks and ended up just having cola. Then the mains…. They didn’t have potatoes so those who wanted it had to have chips. The mains were bland at best. I had the slow cooked beef but you wouldn’t know it looking or tasting it! It was just chewy pasta in a tomato sauce! You couldn’t taste any beef at all. The rest of the mains were edible at best, certainly not worth the money. Then the desserts…. My mom was excited for the lemon dessert with the chocolate lemon on top. We were again faced with “we don’t have all the ingredients to make it” so they brought her the chocolate lemon to eat on its own. To be fair they did give us a free dessert to compensate, but it wasn’t what we wanted so it didn’t make up for it really and at that point I’d had enough so didn’t ask for a dessert as I didn’t want to give them anymore of my money. We were there for 2 and half hours (1 hour too long) and we were only offered a drink once and that was at the start. As for the restaurant itself, it was pleasant and clean. It was however very chilly and 2 of us resorted to wearing coats. It was a real shame as we had a good experience the first visit we had in Shrewsbury but this location was a real drop in standards. Won’t be visiting again I’m afraid
