点评：On a lovely warm night in September on a mini break in Lancaster to see family, we decided to go for a few drinks then go for a meal. We passed this bar and it looked inviting and trendy so thought we would try it. On entering the place smelled of stale, wet carpet and the bar area floor was so sticky my shoes where sticking to it. I leaned on the bar as my husband ordered our drinks and quickly unleaned as my sleeve stuck to some mysterious patch. We decided to sit outside on one of the few tables. My drink (vodka, lime and soda) tasted of dirty dishwater, so I left it. I re-entered to use the toilets, which were upstairs. The smell was really bad up there, like sweaty feet. We didn't bother getting another drink and left. I'm assuming the carpet is booze soaked from a busy weekend and that's what's causing the stench, so maybe a good carpet cleaner would sort that. But the place is mingingly dirty. And as it was a Wednesday and hardly busy, the blame was entirely their own. I would never eat anything from here as I'd hate to see the state of the kitchen, if the public areas are so grotty. Could be a lovely place, we were enticed by its looks, but swiftly moved on by the filth.
