点评：First visit for dinner on a Friday evening. Expecting to be busy, I made a booking. We were seated as soon as we arrived at the time of the reservation. The staff took us through the food menu and highlighted the recommended meals, which was useful since it was our first time there. We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 popadom. The popadoms were different than we had expected and than we had served in other Indian restaurants - really good and good size. The starters (particularly the tandoori grilled fish) were large, so we were concerned about the size of the mains. The Kasundi fish curry is really tasty - I recommend it if you are into fish dishes. The waiting time between dishes was reasonable. Be aware that the menu prices of some drinks (wine, for example) are not updated, but the staff will tell you the new price if applicable. The atmosphere was nice, not top busy or noisy (there is a TV on one of the walls, but the volume was low). I think the restaurant is going through some refurbishment as the ceiling in the toilets is a bit of a rundown and the difference of temperature between the first floor where the toilets are and the ground floor where the seating area is is quite considerable, but this is not an issue in my view and it will probably be fixed. Overall, a nice experience and I’d recommend this place if you fancy a Indian dinner.
