点评：Best avoided quite honestly! We came for a pre cinema breakfast on my Husband’s Birthday, on Monday 9th June at around 9.30am. There were only a few cars in the car park, so we twigged it would be quiet inside. Inside the building, it’s a bit confusing about where you should go and wasn’t very welcoming. They obviously run a skeleton staff, as there was nobody to take our payments at the till or tell us how it worked, as the staff member was busy doing other things. We paid for two breakfasts and two hot drinks, we were given two cups and two sets of cutlery, then told which area we could choose a table. The place is run down and a little bit sad looking. The food was all lined up and sitting under hot lamps, but nothing had a lid on, so everything had dried out and was hard / overcooked. The bacon was sp tough and there was some sort of potato, cheese and onion thing, which was rock hard because it has obviously been sitting there so long. The food was of a poor quality and not very warm at all. Although I filled my plate up, I didn’t actually eat much of it as it was so bad. I wanted to butter some toast and have it with jam, but there were no spare knives that we could see anywhere. The man who took our payment only gave us one set of cutlery each. It felt a bit like prison catering for that reason. The best thing about the breakfast was the filter coffee, which was actually very nice. We were disappointed and won’t go back. The place needs someone to love it and for someone to take charge and stop churning out such terrible food. The issue with breakfast being cold and overcooked, could surely be addressed by the addition of some lids.
