点评：I have been to this particular Pho a couple of times (and have been to others as well) - it's a great restaurant and this restaurant is definitely on par with the other excellent Pho's I have been to. The food is delicious; it all tastes very fresh, and I love how fresh all the vegetables are. I loooove their chicken wings, and really enjoy their various soup and noodle dishes. I also appreciate that there's extra chilli and garlic on the table in different forms, too, so that I can doctor my food to my preferred spice level.
I actually wanted to specifically write this review to shout out a particular waiter. I come with a friend who has very bad coeliac's, as well as a few other significant dietary allergens that she has to avoid. She uses the Coeliac Association to help her find appropriate restaurants. When we came to the restaurant last week we were served by a waiter whose name I believe was Josh.
Josh was GREAT. He took her allergies really seriously. He quadruple checked he had all her allergy information correct. He gave her the allergy booklet and explained it to her - I know this seems like a 'simple' thing but she explained to me afterwards that he is the first person in any restaurant to ever take the time to do that - she usually has to figure it out herself. When she ordered, he checked her allergens again and reassured her multiple times that he would let the kitchen know and just check that everything was okay. It wasn't done in an 'anxious' way, it was done in a really caring way and he was so careful to get the food right for her.
I was so impressed. SO impressed, and so was she. I think he deserves a real commendation. I have seen how significantly she is affected when she exposed to those allergens so to see how seriously it was taken and how kindly he managed that situation was just great.
