Nice pub. Don’t understand why it’s not busier.

点评：Popped in for a quick drink here with my wife, our daughter, her partner and two children.
I can’t fathom why this pub isn’t always busy. The guy behind the bar was perfectly friendly, cleared glasses we used, a wide varied drinks choice, the garden has a wooden climbing frame and slide. Basic, but does the job. What other pubs offer this now for children?
We say in the lovely sunny garden overlooking the fields. Had a run around with the kids in the secure garden.
And went home
We couldn’t have asked for anything more. No complaint whatsoever. For us, for our visit, I can’t say there was anything bad.
As I said. I’m amazed this place is not busier. The only reason I can think that holds it back is location. You have to drive to get there.
Give it a go. So many pubs closing nowadays and this place has had a number of owners. I’m going back next week to try the food. Some good reviews on the food here…. I’ll do another review after eating there!
