点评：The pub was virtually empty when we arrived for a lunch which was NOT pre-booked.
Was shown to a table which was not in a very good position, a bit cramped and dark so we found ourselves another table in the same area. Waited quite a long time (5 minutes) before anyone came to see us and take our order for drinks. No mention at that time of the food order. Drinks came after a few minutes and we then asked a couple of questions about the items on the menu, the waitress didn't know the answers and had to go to ask. After we had ordered we must have waited 10 - 15 minutes before the food was served.
Presentation was not the best and one dish had vegetables which were cold and hardly cooked.
No one came to ask if everything was ok until after about 10 minutes so by then it was not possible to have the vegetables attended to as it was too late.
No allowance was made for the uneaten/ uneatable vegetables so had to ask for a discount. This was very difficult to receive a worthwhile amount and we were told the vegetables were "al-dente" and were told they had never had a complaint before.
We should have been told this when ordering, they were NOT cooked properly.
The manager was very unfriendly, we had disturbed her lunch!!!!
Will Never ever go back there again. Was going to enquire about booking a room in the hotel for a 3 night stay by some of our visitors in October but no way will that happen.
