The phone conversation felt dismissive, I was informed they all wear hairnets and they are receiving prank calls about hairs in their pizza.
The staff member I spoke to actually seemed annoyed (at me) that I was letting him know about the situation.
Was told they needed to collect the pizza.
Only then, if they deemed it to be a hair from themselves, would I be eligible for a refund.
Due to this I foolishly instead opted for a replacement.
Pizza was returned and replaced, but the new pizza smelt ‘off’.
I didn’t eat it.
The air of annoyance from the staff, along with it not smelling good, or like every other pizza I’ve ordered, made me question if I actually wanted to eat replacement pizza.
Perhaps I was just hyper aware and extra critical of the replacement due to the previous hair and the call with the staff member.
But it just didn’t smell right.
Should have just stuck with the hair pizza, I guess.
