I had the pleasure of dining at Lock Keepers recently, and it was such a fantastic experience that I found myself returning the next day!
For my first visit, I ordered the mussels and fries, and they were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The combination was spot-on, and I genuinely couldn’t get enough. The dish was so memorable that I decided to come back the next morning for breakfast.
I’m glad I did. I had the eggs with hollandaise sauce and salmon, and it was perfection on a plate. The hollandaise was silky and rich, the eggs were cooked just right, and the salmon was fresh and delicately balanced. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time.
Beyond the food, the setting is lovely—peaceful, scenic, and a great place to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming on both occasions, making the whole experience feel warm and personal.
All round, a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be going back!
