点评：A beautifully appointed dining room, elegant and spacious. Service was meticulous whilst being simultaneously relaxed and friendly. A jug of iced water and brown and soda bread served on a slate with butter and sea salt served separately was a promising start. I had the salmon which I asked to be served on caramelised onion mash rather than crushed potatoes , caviar on top and some wilted spinach was superb. A reduced buttery lemon sauce was served separately and was delicious. My daughter had the burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was layered with gorgeous sauces, sweet, savoury , an explosion of tastes in the mouth.
Desserts were magnificent, a huge brownie with caramel sauce and ice cream and my apple and plum crumble served with an apple sauce and single cream was delicious. A double espresso was intense and a lovely finish.
