点评：The service at the restaurant was absolutely appalling. We had an 8:45 pm reservation, yet by 9:30 pm, we had already eaten both our starters and mains. The entire experience felt rushed, impersonal, and unpleasant.
From the moment we arrived, things were off. No one offered to take our coats despite a visible coat rack, leaving us to awkwardly pile our good jackets on a shared bench seat. The seating itself was uncomfortable, forcing me to lean forward on the table since relaxing back was impossible. Even worse, the waiter began rattling off the specials while we were still taking off our coats. By the time we sat down, he had already left, leaving my partner to ask, “What were the specials?” I couldn’t even answer because I hadn’t had a chance to hear him properly.
Within seconds of sitting down, a waitress came to ask what wine we wanted, before we had even glanced at the menu. The starters were mediocre at best: my partner had scallops, and I had the pork bonbons. The mains were admittedly very good (fish for him, steak for me), but the service overshadowed any enjoyment. We had to ask three separate times for the wine we ordered before it finally arrived.
By dessert, we had had enough. The rushed pace, lack of care, and general discomfort made it impossible to enjoy the evening. We skipped dessert and left early, eager to put the entire experience behind us. This was easily one of the most unpleasant dining experiences we’ve ever had.
