点评：We happened upon the Fat Buddha, by chance, when we couldn’t get a table at Urquharts across the road. At first glance we weren’t sure, but we were so hungry, we decide to go in. We initially thought we’d have a takeaway, but we noticed there were some tables available, so decided to sit in.
I ordered Beef, spring onion and ginger, and my husband ordered fish and chips, after asking if they were real chips! To his delight they were. We ordered two soft drinks as well. After about 5 minutes my meal arrived, it looked to be a generous portion, it looked delicious too. My husbands fish and chips arrived, a very generous portion of chips, topped with a beautifully battered fish and a slice of lemon.
I cannot praise the meal we had highly enough, it was the best Chinese I’ve had, my husband said his was the best fish and chips he had ever had in his life! It goes without saying that you should never judge a book by its cover. The premises were very clean, if a bit basic. We noticed that “Just Eat” delivery guys were in and out frequently and they had a steady stream of customers while we were there. I would recommend going here for a takeaway or even sitting in. A little gem of a place.
