点评：I booked a table for drinks to celebrate my birthday yesterday with my boyfriend and a close friend. Unfortunately my friend cancelled last minute so it was just my boyfriend and I. After receiving our drinks and letting the staff know that it would just be the two of us, it quickly turned sour.
The staff said ‘we don’t normally accept bookings just for drinks’ and ‘we have lost out on money for 2 tables having food.’
However when booking online, there was nothing to suggest that you have to have food.
Following this, the manager came over and told us we needed to pay a £10 cover charge for our friend’s last minute cancellation once again ‘due to the loss of a table’ further making us feel like a burden.
After this, we were made to feel unwelcome by the staff and quickly had our drinks and paid our tab (with the additional £10 charge) and then left. Safe to say we will not be back.
