点评:This Costa is struggling! It seems to be suffering from a lack of ability to hold its staff, not enough staff on and often resorting to using take away cups because they don't have enough staff to run the dishwasher, let alone clean and clear tables and toilets. I get the impression that the staff turn around might be a reflection of understaffing and/or there might be a top down management issue as the staff often seem unhappy. There's also a culture of 'power' training I witness with older staff telling new/younger staff how to do things in an awkward for the customer power imbalance way, not pleasant to witness. The coffee is fine when the machines are working, the cakes decent, the sandwiches are m&s and the rest lack lustre. On the up side, the back of the shop is a great little nook to hide out and work! Not enough staff to tell you to move on!
This Costa needs a staff makeover and decent number of staffing to function better.
