点评：The staff were lovely, atmosphere was lovely but food let me down.
I cannot have anything spicy. So I very carefully looked at the menu and ordered a pasta in a creamy tomato sauce (everything else had spices and herbs added). It was the only thing on the menu that, according to the menu, had nothing extra added to it. Chicken, pasta in a creamy tomato sauce... great..
Except, when my meal turned up, it was covered in black pepper - that was not said on the menu - and I could not eat it. I tried the bits at the sides of the plate and because I was in company at a birthday, I did not complain... wish I did..
So my tupper-ware came in handy, I literally (in a bad mood cos I was hungry), put it into that and took it home. Later, hubby & kids tried it and all went 'that was spicy'.. yeah I know... thankfully I had toast at home..
Never going back - you need to specify exactly on your menu what you are serving.. and to "sprinkle/pour" black pepper over a customers meal who did not want or ask for that is unacceptable.
