点评：We booked this restaurant online after seeing their advertised “SEPT50” promotion (50% off for online bookings). However, during the booking process there was no place to enter a promo code. We assumed, as the offer stated, that we could simply mention the code in the restaurant.
When the bill arrived, we quoted “SEPT50” to our server. The waitress did her best to handle the situation, but the owner refused to come and discuss it with us, claiming they were not on the premises — even though we actually saw them arrive. In the end, the promotion was still not honoured.
The food was fine, but the way the promotion was handled was very poor and unprofessional. If a restaurant is going to advertise discounts, they should make sure the process is transparent and that staff are supported to honour the offer. Sadly, this experience means we won’t be returning even though we have all been loyal customers of the owner for well over 20 years.
