点评：Went for a High Tea on Sunday 30th April with friends, well that was a big mistake. Originally booked another place for a meal however we noticed there was a cancellation so we thought we would give it a try. We were seated in the bar area, we were told when we booked, however it was freezing sitting in there. We ordered 2 x chicken Goujons, well on the plate was 3 goujons and undercooked chips, no salad, it looked so sparse on the plate, also we ordered a Steak Pie which was full of Gravy and the Veg was from the freezer, another meal was chili con carne, lumpy mince so obviously had been either frozen or reheated. Cakes not home baked as advertised, 4 truffles that were so hard you could not bite into these even with a knife these did not cut, 4 chocolate sponge cakes with a swirl of buttercream, and we also got a portion of Eton Mess which was not bad tbh, but was just crushed merengue and cream not any fruit. If you class this a high tea!!! We spoke to the lady that was serving us, we explained that the meals were not up to much and the veg was from a freezer and the cakes were rock hard, she apologised and said that they use cheaper veg etc as its a cheaper menu. Server was totally disorganized but saying they were so busy - you just don't say that to customers Seriously! Also she reminded us that she did not charge extra for the top ups of Tea & Coffee, again seriously ! I did message them on Facebook messenger they read the comments but never even replied, says a lot for there customers. Do not waste your money going there, as you can see more reviews have said the same poor food. Better going to Montrose at the George Hotel where the portions are decent and a better atmosphere. AVOID
