点评：Rump steak comes at a price of £30, so I anticipated this must be something superior, even out of this world - and fries, mushrooms, vegetables not included - an extra £7 each . Imagine a very thick slice of topside beef joint, that's what the rump steak was like . It resembled no rump steak I've ever had in 50 years . I ordered medium rare - it was actually medium, bordering on well done . I'm seriously doubtful it was actually rump steak at all and not a piece of topside. The very thick fries were okay but nothing special. Some steaks on the menu are priced at £80 !!! Would I have got the real deal if I had paid such an extortionate amount? I've no idea but I'm glad I didn't risk it . The house red was mediocre costing about £7 per 250ml.. I'm guessing it was the kind of bottle costing £7 in Tesco , so I suppose that's normal restaurant mark up but they could have chosen better for the money.
