点评:What a fantastic treasure of a mediterranean restaurant. As soon as you step inside you're transported into an atmospheric world of oak beams, ambient lighting and caskets and whatnot everywhere. The a la carte food is incredible, I had the moorish chicken skewers to start, they were both so firm but juicy, and mopping up the juice with garlic bread was a must. I had monkfish in white wine sauce for main, it was a brave choice as my own cooking experiences with it haven't been great, but it was cooked through in a very generous portion at the same flavour and texture. Seeing all the seafood there at the front of house on ice is also always a bonus. The sauce was delightful both for the fish and for mopping up the lovely crispy and crunchy, all-sorts-of-shapes chips that were more than plenty for 3. Even the 'facilities' upstairs are discreetly out of the way and were perfectly clean. The staff also were very professionally dressed and trained and waited on us with no shortcomings. My only teeny tiny observation would be, there aren't physical menus, you can see the full menu online, but in the restaurant it's behind the bar and quite high up, so for short/old people like myself you might crane your neck a bit. Moving it somewhere lower would be an easy fix :) Can't wait to come back loads of times and soak up the atmosphere, first class food and service.
翻译:地中海餐厅真是个宝藏!一踏进门,就仿佛置身于一个充满情调的世界,橡木横梁、氛围灯、棺材等等随处可见。单点菜品更是令人惊艳,我点了摩尔鸡肉串作为开胃菜,肉质紧实却鲜嫩多汁,用蒜蓉面包吸干汁水更是必不可少。主菜我点了白葡萄酒酱安康鱼,这个选择很大胆,因为我自己做这道菜的经验并不丰富,但安康鱼的烹制非常到位,而且份量十足,保留了原有的风味和口感。看到店门口冰镇的海鲜也总是锦上添花。酱汁搭配鱼肉和各种形状的薯条都恰到好处,三人份量十足,香脆可口。就连楼上的“设施”也都巧妙地避开了阻碍,干净整洁。工作人员的着装和培训都非常专业,服务也非常到位,毫无瑕疵。我唯一小小的意见是,这里没有实体菜单,你可以在网上看到完整的菜单,但在餐厅里,菜单在吧台后面,位置比较高,所以对于像我这样身材矮小/年长的人来说,可能需要伸长脖子。把它移到低一点的地方很容易解决 :) 迫不及待地想再来几次,尽情享受这里的氛围、一流的食物和服务。
