点评：After a terrífic visit to the amazing Llancaich Fawr near Nelson we were lucky enough to finish a great Sunday off with a mouthwatering lunch at the ever cosy and welcoming Mesen in pretty Rhwbina .
You know from the moment you open the stylish glass doors into a haven of convivial chatter and warm smiles from Rhys and his staff that you are going to be spoilt and the taste of each delicious mouthful certainly lived up to our expectations.
Being very fond of fish , in particular sardines and mackerel I was overjoyed to find both on the menu and these paired with a huge bowl of extremely flavorful mixed cabbages lightly sautéed with a touch of Spanish onion ( must try this at home! ) scrumptious roasted carrots and roast potatoes I was in my foodie heaven .
My husband had the largest portion of crisp belly pork with giant fluffy yorkshires, topped with a juicy jug of gravy all to himself so was also a very happy diner !
Sadly we couldn’t fit in a pudding but did enjoy a mouthwatering Negroni and Glass of red wine to add to the delights and left with a very well fed happy glow 😍Diolch and thanks Rhys and everyone at Mesen , just wish you had a mini Mesen in Tenby 🤞🤞
