Such a lovely welcoming restaurant!

点评：What a lovely restaurant! From the moment you enter until the moment you leave, you will experience true hospitality. The restaurant is super clean, with the table cleaned between courses and napkins replaced.
My family (me, my husband and two extremely fussy boys!) arrived for 7pm. The restaurant serves soft drinks only (I don’t know if that will change in time or not), and we were served promptly. We were welcomed with big smiles.
We ordered lamb chops, chicken shish, lamb shank and lamb shish, with battered calamari and chicken wings to start. The chicken wings are absolutely delicious! Soft, juicy, beautifully grilled and seasoned… these were a big hit, and the sauces (garlic and a spicy sauce) were served separately, much to my boys’ relief.
When the mains arrived, we couldn’t have been happier - large portions of beautifully cooked meat, lovely rice, great chips. The lamb shank simply fell apart, as it should… my chicken was sweet and chargrilled gently. The food was well seasoned.
We had a bit of a lovely surprise, as we were finishing up - music started playing and a fabulous cake and birthday candles headed towards me! The restaurant staff sang as they carried it over, which was such a sweet and unexpected gesture! We shared a complimentary tiramisu with cream and it was lovely!
At the end of the meal, the owner came over with a beautiful teapot and little glasses for mint tea along with some Turkish delight. This wasn’t quite to the boys’ taste, but was definitely appreciated by the adults.
We see restaurants come and go on Wellfield Road, and I would very much like to see this one finding a permanent home here. When you receive such great hospitality accompanied with really well cooked food, it’s a great addition to our neighbourhood.
There are, of course, vegetarian options, and a wide range of hot and cold meze dishes but we didn’t have those to write about them.
We shall be back 😊

用餐结束时，店主带来了一个漂亮的茶壶和装薄荷茶的小玻璃杯以及一些土耳其软糖。这不太符合男孩们的口味，但绝对受到大人们的赞赏。
我们看到餐馆在韦尔菲尔德路上来来往往，我非常希望看到这家餐馆在这里找到一个永久的家。当您受到如此热情的款待以及真正美味的食物时，这对我们的社区来说是一个很好的补充。
当然，也有素食选择和各式各样的冷热开胃小菜，但我们没有这些可以写。
