点评：Food was very disappointing. We ate at James Martin Grill (restaurant). The pork dish even the steak knife struggled to cut the pork chop, very chewy. The asparagus and bean, potato dish had not been seasoned was bland and where was the dressing? Decided to fill up on a dessert, wanted cheese and biscuits, when I managed to prize away a member of staff huddled in a rant with 2 other members of staff whilst the manager had disappeared, in hearing distance of us. I asked what the cheeses were she named 3 and said there were 5 but didn't know the others would go and find out. Never came back.
Another staff member asked if we were ready to order I asked again what were the cheeses, as I don't eat blue cheese, he knew all the cheeses but said they came all ready pre -packed, I questioned him and again he confirmed already pre packed but would remove the blue cheese from the others. REALLY cheeses pre packed at an expensive restaurant we declined.
Whilst having the main meal the staff were coming out with plastic spray bottles and laying tables for breakfast (We were an 8p.m. seating) We thought in such a beautiful setting the tables were bare no candles, flowers or anything. The lighting was bright and music could not be heard. It was dull. It felt almost as though the room was set up on the cheap. Just tables that were not in keeping.
The bar staff had been so lovely but the restaurant and food really let's the Lygon down.
We had eaten across the road the evening before at The Broadway Hotel the restaurant there is lovely and the food was 10 times better as were the staff that served. (Does James Martin ever bother to check on this place or is it just a money maker).

吃正餐的时候，工作人员拿着塑料喷雾瓶出来摆放早餐桌（我们是晚上8点的座位）。我们觉得在如此美丽的环境中，桌子上竟然没有蜡烛、鲜花什么的。灯光明亮，却听不到音乐。气氛沉闷。感觉就像是房间布置得很简陋。只是桌子摆放得不太协调。
酒吧工作人员非常热情，但餐厅和食物真的让莱贡酒店失望了。
前一天晚上，我们在马路对面的百老汇酒店吃过饭，那里的餐厅很棒，食物比这里好十倍，服务员也一样。（詹姆斯·马丁有没有费心去了解过这个地方，还是它只是个赚钱的地方）。
