点评:Tonight my family and I visited this pub upon leaving LEGOLAND. We jumped in to get some quick dinner before going to our hotel. We ordered our food at 7.20pm and still hadn’t received this by 8.40pm. We had a 1 year old, 5 year old and 9 year old with us. The bar lady who served us was very nice and helpful but at mom point mentioned the wait time for food. I asked at 8.20 about the food and was told 4 minutes (15 later it still hadn’t arrived).
When we received the food (the 1 year old now asleep) my chicken arrived without the correct condiments that stated on the
Menu and it was the incorrect item. When I pointed this out, the helpful bar lady said she’d help with refund for the uneaten (and inedible) 1 year olds pasta and my chicken that was wrong. We agains at waiting for an update and when we walked into the bar, the manager was heard saying ‘they are getting nothing back from me, they chicken doesn’t come with bacon’ (menu stated baconaisse, which is what I pointed out).
At this point we cut or losses as it was 9.15pm and we had children to get in bed. The young bat lady was main helpful but the manager not so much, not even returning to ask if the food was ok. When questioned about the wait time, we were told she only had one chef on and we were last of the orders. I politely stated that we weren’t made aware of this, to which she huffed off.
Unfortunately we paid at the bar on ordering, I would not have paid for this service otherwise. We didn’t stay to argue the toss and we had children to get I to bed. Looking back, we absolutely should have because the service was terrible. The food that was correct that we did receive was fine and the burger enjoyed by my husband. The children’s pasta was completely overcooked and inedible.
