点评：So i tried to give this review in person but the staff were so rude and dismissive (the manager included with staff) hopefully they will take notice of it here (i'm putting it down to low self-esteem because that can be the only reason as i was so kind and polite when enquiring too - i mentioned to the staff i have been coming here for yearsss (used to be my go-to lunch spot) but over the years there has been a dramatic incline in the food - portions, presentation and overall value for food. I told them the last two times i have came and ordered satay fries they have been drowned in mustard mayo (barely any katsu) the staff member told me it's all the same and nothing has changed and it's the 'spec' the chef's follow - the manager came along and said all the specs have changed and the sauce is now underneath (would be good for all staff and chef to be on the same page for consistent service) - i offered to show them pictures of my food from here previously which is nothing like what it is now and they weren't interested so i'll be happy to upload them here. Today i have been given 'loaded' fries with a little bit of drizzled sauce on top - the joys of £8.50! Crazy the prices have increased given the food has declined!!!
It's a shame to see such a great place go downhill and the staff to be rude (this definitely depends on the staff member and WHO you are). Today they told me the katsu sauce was underneath the chips - the pictures will show - there is nothing under the chips - they said i could pay for a pot of katsu - how about you give us what we're paying for first?! I've attached photo's to show a timeline with dates from 2023 to 2024 to April 2025 to today. Sad times for a great place!
